Flexibility

EMR software is offered in two ways:

- SaS, Hosted or Software as a Service - In this scenario, the EMR software vendor "hosts" your software. Doctors and other support staff access the EMR appliction through the internet using a web based interface.

- Locally installed software - This type of installation requires a server and other network equipment to be setup locally in the office or clinic. This setup while more complex, is not soley based upon your Internet connection.

Both scenarios require a stable foundation of a reliable networking system. This is where REP4 can fill in the gaps; provide ongiong support, monitoring services to ensure your systems are always available and, perhaps most importantly, someone to help navigate through all the options and a finer details of deciding how to setup your network.
